I’m a freelance photographer and I get plently of request to do some studio work for people. I used to work at a studio but not for log but I do know how t do studio lighting and such. i want to purchase some lights and a black and white and maybe rustic looking background to go along. Does anyon nkow fo a a good starter kit, or some decently priced equipmetn and wat kind o equipment I would need. I don’t want to spend a fortune but I do want fairly decent equiment, thanks!

Yeah, the Adorama kits are fine. They are actually OEM’d by another company in China and are available cheaper via eBay under different names.
At the least, you should get a monolight and umbrella stand with a good umbrella. Also, a rig for backgrounds and a couple of solid muslins…black for folks with light hair and white for those with black hair.
Maybe green or blue for chromakey if you want to get into post-processing.
